I was needing a good coleslaw recipe for Greg's birthday since the last one I used was horrible. I found this one in my mother-in-law's Top Secret Recipes (KFC, Wendy's, etc.). I made it for Greg's birthday dinner and it turned out fantastic! It was exactly like KFC's coleslaw which is delicious. My only advice is eat it on pulled pork sandwiches and unless you are feeding many many people, halve the recipe (
I should've quartered it for just the two of us).

| That's the coleslaw on top of the pulled pork sandwich. Yum! |
Ingredients:
- 8 c. shredded cabbage (1 head; I shredded mine in my Bosch shredding attachment and it was the right texture so do that if you have something like that)
- 1/4 c. shredded carrot (I added a bit more because I like carrot, so halving it would be 1 medium carrot)
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. mayo
- 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions:
- Mix the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayo, buttermilk, vinegar, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Add the cabbage, carrot & onion; mix.
- Cover and chill in fridge for at least 2 hours (I left it in over night and it was perfect).
- Serve!
